Windows 11 Enhances User Efficiency with New 'End Task' Taskbar Feature

Windows 11 introduces an easy ‘end task’ feature from the taskbar, which is not enabled by default. Traditionally, users open the Task Manager via CTRL-ALT-DEL or from the taskbar to close unresponsive apps. The new method simplifies this process.

To enable it, open Settings with Win+I, select ‘System,’ then ‘For developers’ (caution advised as these are development settings). Scroll to find and activate the ‘End task’ toggle.

This option makes terminating apps more straightforward, allowing users to quickly test and decide if they prefer this shortcut for managing running applications.
