Vue 3.4 is now available. The JavaScript front-end framework has been upgraded with a rewritten, faster template parser and a reorganized reactivity system.

Vue 3.4, which was unveiled on December 28, 2023, promises “substantial internal improvements.” The most noteworthy is the redesigned template parser, which makes use of htmlparser2’s state-machine tokenizer, which iterates through the whole template string just once.

In the blog post announcing the release, Vue creator Evan You stated that the outcome is a parser that is twice as fast for templates of all sizes. Performance of the SFC build has been enhanced in addition to the parser.
