Vercel, which provides a front-end stack for web developers, says it wants to transform developer workflows like Figma and Google Docs transformed their respective tools.

Until now, getting website feedback required users to shoot down the page and then put it into Slack or a feedback document. The file loads toolbars, which is essentially an element of the Shadow Document Object Model (DOM). In its shadow, which is hidden from the main page, is where the application runs. Comments will also show developers important metadata about the commenter. Comments on Preview Deployments also support Slack integration, so the conversation can continue on the Slack channel.
