VanDyke Announces the Official Release of VShell 4.9 Server

VanDyke Software® declared the official release of the VShell® 4.9 server expanding authentication options supported by SFTP virtual roots. It enables system administrators to configure VShell to transfer files to a remote SFTP server automatically.

VShell 4.9 enhances the flexibility of SFTP virtual roots by enabling VShell to authenticate to the remote SFTP host simultaneously. VShell offers flexibility, security, convenience, and file transfer flexibility using HTTPS, SFTP, or FTPS. It lets users confidently provide numerous file transfer capabilities to their organization and external partners, says Danielle Argiro, VShell’s Product Manager.
