The nation’s goal to establish the Emirates as a major industrial hub by 2031 is in line with the tech program. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stated on Twitter that the new project will guarantee the development of 1,000 technological projects. The tech program includes the creation of national centers for industrial empowerment.

The plan also calls for the development of 1,000 technological projects and the export of advanced Emirati products valued at AED 15 billion (US$ 4.1 billion) annually.
