TIER IV & ADI Unveil GMSL2™-10GbE Module for Faster Autonomous Driving Tech

TIER IV, in collaboration with Analog Devices (ADI), has announced the release of the GMSL2™-10GbE conversion module, a significant addition to their Edge.Auto platform aimed at accelerating autonomous driving technology.

This module, designed to enhance the development of autonomous systems, supports data acquisition from up to 8 cameras and sensors. It ensures low-latency data transmission and includes features like PTP synchronization and shutter timing control.

By facilitating seamless integration of GMSL2 cameras, sensors, and computers, the module eliminates the need for individual device drivers, promoting broader device compatibility and streamlining the development process for advanced autonomous driving solutions.
