With the introduction of new generative artificial intelligence tools geared toward developers, Stability AI Ltd. and Google Cloud are stepping up their efforts to automate the process of writing code.
With its most recent generative AI model, Stability AI is making its first attempt at code generation, whereas Google has unveiled a web-based development environment that aims to make life simpler for developers creating cross-platform applications.
According to Stability AI, the open-source StableCode is a large language model that is made available in three versions: a basic model for general use cases, an instruction model, and a long-context-window model that supports up to 16,000 tokens for more complex programming.
