The Siemon Company, a network infrastructure provider, participated in the 41st IBTA Plugfest, introducing new interoperability tests for optical transceivers and fiber cabling.
This event, held at the University of New Hampshire’s Interoperability Lab, was significant for including various manufacturers’ products for the first time in system testing. Siemon’s AI Ready fiber optic solutions, tested with NVIDIA InfiniBand hardware, successfully passed all interoperability tests.
These tests involved NDR 400G and 200G traffic using NVIDIA switches, ConnectX-7 adapter cards, and Siemon’s fiber cabling. The IBTA is set to publish an Integrator list featuring hardware and Siemon components.
