Samsung's 990 Pro SSD Shows Inconsistent Endurance Ratings Across Countries

A discrepancy in the endurance ratings of Samsung’s 990 Pro SSDs has been uncovered by a Polish hardware forum, sparking curiosity among tech enthusiasts. Globally, the 990 Pro is lauded for its outstanding performance, boasting speeds up to 7,450 MB/s read and 6,900 MB/s write.

However, endurance ratings, specifically the terabytes written (TBW) figure, appear to vary by country. In the U.S., U.K., and Estonia, the 4TB model is rated for 2,400 TBW, but in Poland, the same model is rated at only 1,200 TBW. This significant difference raises questions, though it could be a typographical error.
