Qualcomm is set to launch an affordable Snapdragon X Plus chip, the X1P-42-100, aimed at USD 700 Windows on Arm PCs for budget-conscious consumers desiring AI capabilities without high performance.
As per Wccftech, the Asus ProArt PZ13, equipped with this chip, showed mixed performance in benchmarks. Due to fewer cores, it slightly lags behind its 10-core counterpart in Cinebench tests but surpasses AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS and Intel Core 9 185H in Geekbench single-core tests.
However, its GPU performance significantly falls short, with about 40-50% lower scores in graphic-intensive benchmarks, underscoring its limitations for heavy graphics tasks.
