Palo Alto Networks Launches Cortex XSIAM for SOC Automation

Palo Alto Networks has announced the general availability of Cortex XSIAM, an automated security operations platform created to automate the SOC, in an effort to realize its vision for the automated SOC.

According to Palo Alto Networks, the solution can reduce the number of alerts that SOC teams need to analyze by 80%. Following the launch of the XSIAM Design Partner Program earlier this year, Palo Alto Networks made Cortex XSIAM available to a select group of design partners. It’s a solution built on the notion of increasing the SOC’s efficiency through automation.

According to the company, this solution may help businesses deal with analyst burnout in the SOC.
