Oracle announces the general availability of MySQL HeatWave Lakehouse to allow customers to put query data faster querying data inside the database.

MySQL HeatWave Lakehouse supports storage file formats such as Parquet, CSV and export files from other databases. They can combine object storage file data and MySQL database transactional data in the same query.

Object store files are enquired by HeatWave directly without copying the data into the MySQL database. This will set new standards for scalability and performance for query processing, loading data speed, cluster provisioning time, and automation of query data.

MySQL HeatWave Lakehouse lets customers easily get valuable real-time insights by combining their data in object storage with database data at a much faster data loading speed and a lower cost.
