OpenFeature is now a CNCF incubating project after being approved by the Technical Oversight Committee (TOC).
The goal of the open specification OpenFeature is to offer a community-driven, vendor-neutral API for feature flagging. Feature flagging is a technique in software development that allows teams to change the behavior of features or code paths, turn them on or off, without altering the source code.
With the introduction of OpenFeature as a standard for feature flags, various tools and vendors will be brought together under one interface.
