Nvidia’s latest driver update, Version 566.36, removes GeForce Experience and replaces it with the new Nvidia app. This change is part of a broader plan to unify GPU controls by consolidating features from both GeForce Experience and the Nvidia Control Panel into one application.
The Nvidia app, which left beta on November 12, integrates game launching, driver updates, graphics settings adjustments, and access to services like GeForce Now. Some advanced features, such as Nvidia Surround, remain available only in the legacy Control Panel, indicating it shouldn’t be removed just yet. The app also introduces an updated overlay.
