Nvidia is claiming dominance in the “AI PC” competition by launching three new desktop graphics chips designed to improve AI features on personal computers.
These chips, an upgrade to existing models, come with additional components enabling gamers, designers, and users to use AI without relying on internet-based remote services. The announcement was made at the CES trade show, with Nvidia highlighting an attractive pricing strategy for these products.
The underlying idea is that running AI software locally on PCs improves security and responsiveness compared to internet-dependent alternatives.
