At its developer conference, Nvidia launched CUDA Quantum, an open-source platform that builds quantum algorithms using popular computer coding languages C++ and python. The platform is named after CUDA, a software developers utilize to access Nvidia’s GPU. CUDA Quantum assists in executing the algorithm across quantum and classical computers to determine which system is most efficient in solving the issue. It also allows domain scientists to integrate quantum into their applications seamlessly, says Tim Costa, Nvidia’s director of HPC and quantum.
