Moore Threads, a Chinese GPU manufacturer, recently expanded its S-series GPUs with the mid-range S50, boasting 8GB of VRAM and 2,048 MUSA cores.
Positioned between the higher-end S60, S70, S80, and the lower-end S10 and S30, the S50 mirrors the S60’s specs, with identical core count, memory, and bus width.
Despite similar specifications, the S50 offers slightly less computing power, rated at 5.2 Teraflops of FP32 and 20.8 TOPS of INT8, compared to the S60’s 15% higher FP32 capability. The primary difference is speculated to be in power consumption and clock speeds, with the S50 having an 85W TGP.
