Microsoft launched its Copilot+ PCs last May, promoting them as the “fastest, most intelligent Windows PCs ever.” However, a Community Note on X (formerly Twitter) disputes these claims, stating that the devices, powered by Snapdragon processors, lack the computing power of high-end Intel and AMD chipsets.

Additionally, critics point out that these PCs are not optimized for gaming and that many AI functions remain unimplemented. While some manufacturers predict Arm PCs will dominate the market in five years, sales data indicates they currently represent a negligible portion of laptop shipments, with compatible devices under 10% of total sales.
