Microsoft releases a Visual Studio Developer News extension

In order to keep developers informed of all the most recent software releases and developer events, Microsoft has released new Developer News extensions for Visual Studio.

In Visual Studio 2017, the feature was on the Start Page, but later releases did away with it. After installing the extension, users should see a tab docked next to Solution Explorer; tapping the tab will bring up the news feed.

This updated version addresses one of the issues with the feature in the past: relevant news was not displayed. The extension might eventually integrate with the Developer Community and local inventions
