The tech juggernaut withheld the investment amount in the “third phase of our long-term partnership with OpenAI,” in which it invested USD 1 billion in in 2019. According to earlier reports, Microsoft could invest up to USD 10 billion in OpenAI. It will integrate OpenAI models into both its consumer and enterprise products as well as launch new digital experience categories based on OpenAI’s technology. Azure will power all OpenAI workloads across research, products, and API services as the sole cloud provider for OpenAI.
