Microsoft and Oracle Expand Business to Deliver Oracle Database Services on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in Microsoft Azure

Oracle Corp and Microsoft Corp announced Oracle Database@Azure. It will give customers direct access to Oracle database services running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and deployed in Microsoft Azure data centers.

Oracle Database@Azure will deliver performance, scale, and workload availability advantages of Oracle Database on OCI with the security and best-in-class services of Microsoft Azure, including Azure OpenAI.

Combining these technologies will give customers more flexibility to run their workloads and simplify cloud purchasing and management between Oracle Database and Azure services.

With Oracle Database@Azure, Oracle and Microsoft will also help customers accelerate their cloud migration process to modernize their IT environments and take advantage of Azure’s tooling, infrastructure, and services.
