Magic AI Inc., a startup developing an AI platform to generate code, announced that it has raised USD 23 million in new funding to expand its staff and get ready to market with its product.
The company raised a total of USD 28 million in the Series A funding round, which was led by Alphabet’s CapitalG and included Elad Gil, Nat Friedman, and Amplify Partners. It is envisioned that the AI will function essentially like a “colleague inside the computer” who can assist in generating and editing code as well as perform other smart agent duties.
According to the firm, wen programmers are writing code, Copilot offers code that will automatically finish the task at hand and is able to finish even lengthy pieces of code.
