Linux-rs is being developed


The goal of the project GNU/Linux-rs is to write the Linux kernel from scratch in Rust. The Linux-rs project is an alternative to the current Linux kernel that is faster and more powerful.

Rust has seen OS and microkernel initiatives over the last five to seven years, but in my opinion, those have been time-wasting efforts. Therefore, rather than creating something entirely new, it is more profitable to rewrite what businesses and users already know works.

Under the GNU/GPL3 license, the project is operated. The goal of Linux-rs is to provide a substitute that eventually becomes the standard.
