Using its own and other organizations’ experiences—such as Mozilla—into account, LinkedIn has been developing and putting into practice a Developer Productivity and Happiness (DPH) Framework, which offers standards for gauging its own development procedures.
The resulting guidelines have shown to be helpful, and they were recently made publicly available so that other companies can benefit from the same lessons and enhance their own development processes by knowing what works and where potential bottlenecks and frustrations may be found.
Developers will be able to better manage work and life when projects aren’t bound by unnecessarily strict deadlines.
