An AMD Radeon RX 8000-series GPU, codenamed “gfx1201” and identified as part of the Navi 48 lineup, was spotted in a Geekbench OpenCL benchmark, drawing significant attention.

Discovered by BenchLeaks, it showcased potentially 56 Compute Units, based on an analysis suggesting each RDNA 4 Work Group Processor accounts for two CUs, translating to 3,584 Stream Processors. The GPU, likely an engineering sample due to its modest 2.1 GHz clock speed, features 16GB of presumed GDDR6 memory, suggesting a 256-bit memory interface.
