Kopin Corporation and MICLEDI Microdisplays enter a strategic agreement to develop, design, and manufacture advanced microLED displays. These will provide an information-rich AR experience when used in high-brightness light conditions.
The program will include MICLEDI’s unique CMOS production flow and Kopin’s superior backplane control, along with its display systems to create full-color microLED displays. The displays are integrated with an advanced CMOS technology node for secure enterprises.
Adopting Kopin’s disruptive AR display technology will allow optimum microdisplays for AR to develop MICLEDI’s microLEDs using system integration skills.
