Jobs Market Will Continue to Favor Developers Says New Forrester Study

Analysts from Forrester expect the jobs market will continue to favor developers in 2023 amid mass layoffs. The macroeconomic environment is still difficult on a global scale.

Many IT professionals are unsure of the safety of their jobs in light of the fact that major tech companies have started laying off employees or halting hiring. Despite the challenges, Forrester thinks programmers are better off than most. In Singapore, Forrester recently held its APAC Predictions 2023 event.

Despite the widespread layoffs at big tech companies like Meta and Twitter, the firm’s executives expressed their belief that there is still a shortage of workers during the event. Forrester predicts that businesses will need to support the desire for remote work in order to meet demand.
