JetBrains s.r.o., a provider of professional software development tools, announced the general availability of “AI Assistant,” a coding companion powered by artificial intelligence that is now accessible to users of the organization’s independent development editors.
Software developers and engineers use the company’s IDEs, which are software applications that combine the tasks of writing code, building, debugging, and testing into a single platform. Multiple generative AI models power the new coding assistant and has deep integration with these applications.
Its models can comprehend the code and the project as a whole because the AI Assistant is integrated into the IDE; developers do not need to leave their editing environment to communicate with it.
