Intel is set to enter production of its 1nm node, 10A, in late 2027. Its 14A node, which is 1.4nm, will begin production in 2026. The company is also working on creating fully autonomous AI-powered fabs.
Intel’s ‘A’ suffix represents Angstroms, and 10 Angstroms convert to 1nm, meaning this is the company’s first 1nm-class node. The 10A/1nm node is expected to have at least a 14-15% improvement over the 14A node.
