According to a J L Partners survey of 500 software developers in the U.S. and the U.K., 83% of developers said that delivery performance is important, but 70% of software projects are not completed on time.
The survey examined the most important risks affecting on-time delivery and was commissioned by technology and cyber security expert Junade Ali for Haystack. According to the survey, the majority of business executives believe that software delivery on time is crucial, but they are worried about it at work. Despite this, 81% of U.S. and 89% of U.K. business decision-makers are worried about their organization’s software projects not being completed on schedule.
