HP forecasts first-quarter profit amid slow PC market recovery

HP Inc. has forecasted its first-quarter profit as it maintained annual earnings from the rising demand in the personal computers market. As the market is still recovering, it predicts to gain considerable profits.

HP anticipates first-quarter profit per share will be between 76 cents and 86 cents. The company further mentions that it will launch AI PCs in the second half of next year and expects its profits to increase gradually.

The CEO mentions that the penetration of AI PCs will be some in 2024 and more to come in 2025 and may rise in 2026.

HP also expects to maintain and adjust its profits by 2024 with $3.25 to $3.65 per share.
