Based on their experiences with the original Griffin machine-learning platform, Instacart developed the next-generation platform. The organization sought to help handle all ML workloads and enhance user experience.
The updated platform adds new features for both present and future applications while utilizing the most recent advancements in MLOps. In 2022, Instacart launched the first version of the Griffin platform to help with its transition to using machine learning in product development.
The company says that since a unified platform offered some essential features like feature marketplace, workflow management, containerized environments, and real-time inference, it was possible to triple the number of machine learning applications in a single year.
