Google wants developers to bring IoT apps to automobiles

Google is making it simpler for developers to create Internet of Things (IoT) applications for automobiles. The “Android for Cars App Library” contains driving-optimized templates that developers can use to start creating their IoT applications for automobiles.

Testing apps for this category is made simpler by the DHU for Android Auto and the Automotive OS emulator for Android Automotive OS.

The updated documentation, car quality guidelines, and design guidelines are available for interested developers to review. Developers can go to Google’s website for more information on creating IoT apps.
