Google has made its Duet AI for Developers generally available (GA), offering developers chat and IDE coding assistance.
The Duet AI in Google Cloud preview, which was unveiled at Google Cloud Next earlier this year, is followed up with the Duet AI for Developers GA release. In a variety of integrated development environments (IDEs), including Cloud Shell Editor, Cloud Workstations, IntelliJ, and Visual Studio Code, it provides developers with AI code completion, code generation, and chat.
Furthermore, more than 20 programming languages, including C, C++, Go, Java, JavaScript, and Python, are supported by Duet AI for Developers. Google is integrating AI into its products with Duet AI, much like Microsoft did with Copilot. The business either already has its Gemini model integrated into it or intends to do so in the upcoming weeks.
