In order to assist users in maintaining control over their personal data, privacy, and online safety, Google recently announced that it is introducing new tools and safeguards.
Users can now better manage their personal contact information on Google Search thanks to the updated and improved “Results about you” tool. Users can quickly request the removal of their contact information by being informed when it appears in search results. The user’s contact information will be displayed in web results on a new dashboard that will be unveiled. Direct removal requests can also be facilitated by this dashboard.
Users will receive notifications with their contact information when new search results are available. Through the Google app, users can access the tool by clicking on their account photo and choosing “Results about you.”
