Google introduces ChatGPT competitor Bard and AI search strategies to compete with Microsoft

Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, announced that it will launch a chatbot service and more artificial intelligence for its search engine and developers, as a response to Microsoft Corp.

Microsoft, meanwhile, claimed that it would be revealing its own AI. Google has introduced Bard, a conversational AI service that will respond to queries with “fresh, high-quality information” gathered from the internet. Bard was announced by Google CEO Sundar Pichai on the company blog on Monday, calling it “an important next step” in AI for the dominant search engine company.

Pichai stated that “Bard seeks to combine the depth of the knowledge of the world with the strength, intelligence, and creativity of large language models.”
