Google LLC is reportedly developing an array of generative artificial intelligence capabilities that can perform tasks such as providing life advice and creating budgets.
The development effort was covered by The New York Times, which cited internal company documents. According to reports, Google DeepMind, the company’s AI research division, is in charge of the initiative.
After the company combined two previous AI teams known as DeepMind and Google Brain, the group was established in April. At least 21 different generative AI capabilities are reportedly being developed by the engineers of the search giant.
One of the key features is reportedly able to offer guidance on “challenges in people’s lives.” According to a Times sample prompt, the feature can handle sophisticated user queries with multiple lines of text.
