Java application server Eclipse GlassFish 7.0, which uses the Jakarta EE 10 framework for enterprise-level Java deployments, is now generally accessible.
GlassFish 7.0, which was made available on December 14 and can be downloaded from the Eclipse Foundation, includes Java EE 10 APIs and implementation parts. In September, Jakarta EE 10 was released, with a focus on creating cloud-native Java applications and microservices. GlassFish 7 is compatible with Java Development Kits (JDK) 11 through JDK 19, compiles with those JDKs, and utilizes the final Jakarta EE 10 APIs and implementation components.
A console for administration, clustering support, and other production and development tools are additional features of GlassFish.
