Couchbase, Inc. has introduced Capella Columnar on AWS, allowing real-time data analysis alongside operational workloads within a single database platform. Additionally, Couchbase Mobile now features vector search, allowing similarity and hybrid search in applications on mobile and at the edge.
The company has also launched Capella Free Tier, a free developer environment designed to empower developers to evaluate and explore products without time constraints. Capella Columnar addresses the challenge of parsing, transforming, and persisting JSON data into an analysis-ready columnar format and supports real-time, multisource data ingestion from various systems.
Additionally, Couchbase Mobile with vector search allows cloud-to-edge AI applications, allowing developers to use vector search at the edge to build fast, secure, and reliable search capabilities.
