Baidu, a Chinese search engine, plans to create its own ChatGPT-like AI bot in March

Bloomberg reported today that Chinese search giant Baidu Inc. plans to launch a ChatGPT-like artificial intelligence bot that will be able to understand and respond in conversational language to users.

OpenAI LLC created ChatGPT, a large language model AI that can comprehend and respond to complex natural language queries in a conversational manner that appears to users to be very human. It enables them to speak naturally, asking questions and giving answers that make the other person feel present.

It has been used to create bots that can write code, write articles, and even provide customer service, though those have a tendency to make mistakes.
