Axelar develops a virtual machine to enable the execution of dApps on every chain

Axelar announced the next phase of its secure interchain infrastructure at Ethereum Denver’s BUIDLWeek. Axelar Virtual Machine will allow developers to build their dApps once – whether on EVM, Cairo VM, Cosmos, or another ecosystem – and run them on all chains.

Developers can now build across the entire Web3 as if they were doing so on a single chain with a programmable interoperability layer that automates complex multi-chain deployment and management.

Wherever they are developed, developers using the Axelar Virtual Machine will be able to integrate these technologies. Sergey Gorbunov, a co-founder of Axelar, stated: “If the proper building blocks are in place, building in Web3 should be simpler than in Web2.
