Asus recently unveiled the NUC 14 Pro AI (Lunar Canyon), taking over Intel’s NUC mini-PC line. It has an Intel Core Ultra 200V chip, emphasizing AI capabilities with over 40 TOPS, and features a Copilot button for AI integration.
The device can be upgraded to an Intel Core Ultra 9 288V chip but trades upgradeable SO-DIMM RAM for fixed LPDDR5x memory, supporting up to 32GB. While full specs and pricing are pending, it promises Intel Arc graphics, M.2 SSD support, and extensive connectivity, including Wi-Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 4. This launch marks a move towards AI-enhanced desktop PCs in a compact form.
