Android Studio Flamingo upgrades UI tooling

Android Studio Flamingo, the most recent version of the official IDE for Android application development, is now available in a stable release.

Jetpack Compose and Material 3 templates, live editing for Compose UIs, and new app inspection capabilities are some of the new features. Android Studio Flamingo, which can be accessed from developer.android.com, is designated as version 2022.2.1 and is built on JetBrains’ IntelliJ IDEA 2022.2 IDE. Flamingo introduces the capability to preview themed app icons as one of the numerous new UI tools.

Developers can switch between wallpapers and observe how themed app icons respond to the selected wallpaper by using the System UI Mode selector on the toolbar.
