AMD’s Radeon RX 6600 has overtaken the Polaris-based RX 580 in Steam’s October hardware survey, becoming the most popular AMD GPU for the second month.
However, it remains outside the top 30 overall. Currently, Nvidia commands a staggering 77.37% of the dedicated GPU market, while AMD holds a mere 15%. The RX 6600 is used by only 0.98% of Steam users, ranking 34th overall, with its age of nearly three years contributing to its limited adoption. Meanwhile, Nvidia’s RTX 40 series GPUs appear in the top 10, underscoring its ongoing market leadership.
