The AMD EPYC 9755 processor, with 128 Zen 5 cores, has broken records to become the fastest multi-threaded chip in CPU-Z benchmarks, scoring 108,093 points.

This makes it 57% more powerful than its predecessor, the EPYC Bergamo and significantly outpaces competing products like the Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7995WX and the EPYC 9654 CPUs. Despite its groundbreaking multi-thread performance, its single-thread score 653.7 aligns with mid-range offerings.

The EPYC 9755 is part of AMD’s impressive lineup, including the yet-to-be-revealed top-tier EPYC 9000X and the 192-core EPYC 9005, promising substantial advancements with the Zen 5 architecture.
