The creators of a dedicated AI computer, Cerebras Systems, an AI pioneer, released several generative AI program versions as open-source for unrestricted use.
Cerebras uses its powerful supercomputer to “train” the programs, or bring them to peak performance, which lessens the amount of work that must be done by outside researchers. Seven substantial language models, similar to OpenAI’s GPT program, which started the generative AI craze in 2018, were published by Cerebras.
The code is accessible on GitHub and the website of AI startup Hugging Face.
