HMD Global is bringing the new G-series smartphone Nokia G60 5G. The company claims the new Nokia G60 5G is the eco-friendliest G-series device. The device is built using a 100% recycled polycarbonate back and 60% recycled polycarbonate frame, making it robust against bashes and kinder to the environment. HMD Global promises to provide a two-year warranty, three years of OS upgrades, and monthly security updates with the new Nokia G60 5G.
People in India can pre-book on Nokia.com & other major retail outlets from the 7th of November. HMD Global has also announced a limited-period offer of Free Nokia Wired Buds upon pre-booking the device. Nokia G60 5G is available in 2 colors – Ice and Black having a 6/128GB memory variant.
Apart from supporting 5G NSA architecture deployed by Indian telecom vendors, it also supports Jio True 5G SA network and Carrier Aggregation for combining multiple frequencies in a single ‘Data Highway.’
The Nokia G60 5G comes with a 50MP triple camera and an AI SuperPortrait feature, which offers better selfies even for a group shot, the company claims. The phone also has Dark Vision and low-light photography. There’s a separate Night Mode 2.0 for city skyline shots during the dark. The camera setup also comes with an ultra-wide-angle lens.
The phone embodies a 6.58-inch FullHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is protected with the help of a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Nokia G60 5G has preinstalled GoPro Quik App for better compatibility with GoPro cameras.
The device is powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset allowing 5G connectivity. Additionally, the phone supports 20W fast charging with a 4500 mAh battery unit.
